The section I have paddled (Yorktown to Daleville) is fairly shallow with occasional rocks to dodge. No white water though. There are a few deep pools. This is a very nice section of river.

- Canoe County in Daleville has canoe and kayak rentals. I was happy with them the two times I rented from them years ago, but now the prices seem high if you aren't in a group.
